Peter J. Robertson
Associate

Peter Robertson’s practice is primarily in Civil Litigation. He also works on Family Law and Criminal Law matters.  

Peter was born and raised in Scotland. He obtained his Bachelor of Law Degree (with Honours) at Aberdeen University in Scotland, graduating in 2004. He then attended Dundee University and obtained further qualifications, graduating in 2005. Peter was admitted to the Law Society of Scotland in 2006.

Peter’s practice initially focused on Family Law and Civil Litigation in the Highlands of Scotland before he moved to Glasgow (Scotland) to specialise in Mental Health Law. The firm for which he worked had clients the length and breadth of Scotland and Peter acted as counsel in around 200 hearings. He joined muttarts law firm in May 2010 and, after a period of articling, was admitted to the NS Bar on February 4th, 2011. Peter is accredited by the National Committee on Accreditation (Canada).

Peter relishes Court work and his practice is focused accordingly. He also maintains a keen interest in mental health issues and is the vice chair of the Canadian Mental Health Association Kings County Branch.
