We are distinct among law firms in this region for our depth and experience in the specialized field of labour relations. Beyond the often difficult employment law issues found in non-unionized workplaces, we have many years of experience in the complex area of labour relations in unionized settings – in both the private and the public sectors.

We handle all aspects of labour relations including applications for union certification, collective bargaining (including the crucial first-contract bargaining), grievances, arbitrations, conciliations, work stoppages, inter-union certification disputes and de-certification applications. We also advise on employment policy manuals, Workers Compensation, occupational health and safety, severance compensation and risk management in the workplace.
